120 Gauge (Thin) Polythene Layflat Tubing

Clear 120g (30mu - Light Duty) Polythene Layflat Tubing on a roll for use in making your own polythene sleeves or bags (with a heat sealer).
A mistake often made by people not familiar with layflat tubing is the width required. Polythene tubing is measured when it is flat on the roll. If you are putting, for example, a tube with a diameter of 10cm into a length of layflat tubing, your first thought might be to order a roll of layfat tubing that is 10cm wide. You would then find that the layflat tubing you have ordered is too small.
To get the correct size of layflat tubing for your needs you have to measure the CIRCUMFERENCE of the object you want to pack, and then divide by 2 to get the size of layflat tubing you need. To carry on with our example, a tube with a DIAMETER of 10cm has a CIRCUMFERENCE of 31.4cm (remember the joys of mastering Pi in maths class at school?). Divide 31.4cm by 2 and you get 15.7cm, so you then find the next size of layflat tubing above 15.7cm (157mm) from our range of sizes shown here, and that is the size you need.
