A brief run-down of carriage charges:
Local Delivery
Roughly within a 15 mile radius of Norwich, we can still offer a van delivery, but this is restricted to Wednesdays and Saturdays. Most orders that require delivery are now sent via Parcelforce, even in our local area (Norfolk). Orders to Norwich (NR1-NR3 postcodes) with a value under £15 + VAT incur a delivery charge of £2.50 + VAT.
Orders to Norwich (NR4-NR7 postcodes) with a value under £15 + VAT incur a delivery charge of £3.49 + VAT.
Orders in the Norfolk/N. Suffolk area incur a delivery contribution charge of £4.49 + VAT for the 1st 30kg box, £7.49 + VAT for a 2 box delivery, £10.49 + VAT for a 3 box delivery, and £13.49 for a 4 box delivery.
If you are outside the NR postcode area, we send orders via Parcelforce. Carriage charges are based on weight, but generally, with Parcelforce. you can order up to 30Kg of goods for a carriage charge of £7.49 + VAT. We charge carriage at cost prices to us, and in the event that the cost calculated by the online shop is more than the actual cost we will refund the difference.
Carrier - UK Mainland not including The Scottish Highlands The majority of our parcels go with Parcelforce, whom we have found to be very reliable. The rates are very competitive and you get your order quickly following despatch. However, with bulky lightweight items like bubble wrap, corrugated card, polystyrene loosefill and cardboard boxes, we regret that the excessive carriage charges mean that we have to restrict these items to our immediate local delivery area (see map) only.
Carrier - Scottish Highlandsor Remote Areas as defined by Parcelforce, UK Islands Please choose the correct carriage option when placing an order for these areas as we cannot ship to these area via a carrier at mainland rates.
