Are your premises open to visitors?

Yes. You're more than welcome. We're open for visitors every weekday 10am-3.30pm as of April 2020. DON'T GO TO CANTLEY! We are in Lingwood, 3 miles west of Acle off the A47 Norwich - Yarmouth road. We are BEHIND Lingwood Railway Station, which is on Station Road. Drive into the station and go right to the back of the station, past the Station House,, through the entrance with the large white gate, 150 metres down the drive, and we are the only building down the end. You can't miss us!

How do I pay?

Local Delivery orders can be paid for at the time of ordering by any of the major credit/debit cards. If you are sure you will be there when we deliver you can also pay by cash or cheque on delivery. Mail order goods can be paid for with your credit/debit card or Paypal account when ordering from our online shop, or, if you prefer not to do that, by calling our sales office on 01603 714691 with your credit card details. Regular customers are welcome to apply for account facilities.

Do you charge for local delivery?

We don't like to, but the cost of deliveries gives us no choice but to make a delivery charge on smaller orders.
Orders to Norwich (NR1-NR7 postcodes) with a value under £15 + VAT incur a delivery charge of £2.50 + VAT.
Orders in the Norfolk area under £50 +VAT AND under 30Kg (Parcelforce single box weight limit) incur a delivery contribution charge of £3.25 + VAT for each box required.
For orders in Norfolk over £50 +VAT, the first box is free, and any extra boxes incur a delivery contribution charge of £3.25 + VAT for each box required.
. Do you supply printed carrier bags or other printed packaging?

If you are an existing customer we can quote for printed polythene carrier bags or printed paper bags, but we regret we cannot take on any printed work with new customers at this time.

OK - you are in Lingwood, so why are you called Bagman of Cantley?

Well, we became so well known as Bagman of Cantley in the 1970s (see the next question to read all about our infamy), when we were operating from premises in Cantley, that when we moved to larger premises in Lingwood, in 1978, we thought it would be madness to change such a well known name. We aren't so well known now, especially in the UK as a whole (we just served Norfolk back then), but we still can't bring ourselves to change the name.

Who wrote those daft adverts that appeared in the local paper years ago?

Ah - good question. Click here for the answer.
