These sacks are very heavy duty black polythene sacks primarily for use with waste compactors but are used for any type of job where an standard refuse sack is just not strong or large enough. Standard refuse sacks range from 120 gauge (30mu) up to 225 gauge (56mu). These sacks are 300 gauge/75mu so they should handle most types of waste (short of filling them with builders rubble!). These bags are also considerably larger than standard refuse sacks, being about 9in. (22cm) wider overall, and 8in. (20cm) longer.
